摘要：All living organisms are made of cells, and their reproduction from one to two underpins the growth development and reproduction of all life. The molecular mechanisms that control the progression through the cell reproductive process called the cell cycle is conserved throughout life from the simplest single cell organisms such as yeast through to human beings. I will describe the experiments from my laboratory that identified that mechanism and that showed that it was conserved throughout the tree of life.
