Advanced Cell Biology 李湘盈课题组专注于探索干细胞「自我更新及分化」的分子机理,特别是细胞内信号通路如何与外在环境因素交互作用并影响干细胞的命运。干细胞「自我更新」和「分化」之间的平衡对于器官正常发育及组织再生起到关键性的作用。为了更深入的了解调控干细胞自我更新与复制的机制,课题组以血液干细胞特别是红系发育为模型。红细胞是人体内数量最多的细胞,正常人体每秒钟需制造约三百万的红细胞, 以维持体内正常供氧的需求。 李湘盈研究员过去的研究中,通过运用人类基因组学,化学药物筛选以及单细胞RNA测序技术,发现多种影响红系祖细胞BFU-E与其他血液干细胞自我复制的新机制, 研究成果发表於Nature, Molecular Cell, PNAS, Blood等期刊。
课题组以血液系统为基础,结合人类遗传学,细胞生物学及生物化学,系统性地分析调控干细胞特别是血液干细胞复制与分化的机制,从而发现新的调控因子,并进一步理解血液疾病的致病机理以及开发新的治疗方法。
