Watching the life inside a Cell: STORM, CRISPR and Imagenomics
Cellular processes are carried out by coordinated participation of many biomolecules in a tiny volume. Many people have been dreaming to see clear pictures of these processes in order to understand how these molecules work together. Taking on this challenge, we are developing new imaging techniques and imaging probes, including the use of super-resolution microscopy to dissect the architecture of protein complexes, as well as CRISPR/Cas9 -based probes to visualize the physical organization of the genome.
