Lab Research

As a research-directed program, the Undergraduate Honors Program in Biology (UHPB) requires students to perform real lab researches, aiming at helping students to learn how scientific researches are really carried out and to build up their own research interests by exploring one or several specific fields in the lab. Currently, the UHPB students are performing cutting-edge researches in labs focusing on different fields at several institutes including Peking University, Tsinghua University, Peking University People’s Hospital, etc. The heterogeneity of the department backgrounds and research interests of UHPB students also facilitate interdisciplinary communication and corporations, helping students to go beyond their own fields and to get a broader horizon.
